I don’t have the energy for a full post. Some family and friends don’t have Facebook, so this is my way of communicating to them.
The transplant is scheduled for 8 or 9 pm, depending on when the cells get here. The “procedure” is really similar to an infusion of platelets or blood. I suspect it will take a few hours.
The last two days have been really rough. I don’t think I ever felt this bad at UK. I have hardly eaten anything in two days. But, it’s all part of it.
Christi, her Mom, and the girls are on their way to Houston. They should be here sometime tomorrow.
It took me nearly ten minutes just to write this, so I’m signing off. Thanks for all your prayers. They really do matter.
God bless you.
Prayers from KY, sir. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
Best of luck to you sir. You are a strong and determined man, I am sure if there is a way to beat this you will do it. I will always remember something you told me once when I messed up and put way too much coffee in the coffee maker and warned you about it when you poured a cup. “There is no such thing as strong coffee, only weak people” And that sir is one thing that you are not. I do not know if I could have had the strength to endure this as you have. All the best to you and your family and I will be thinking of you and praying this is a success.
Thanks, good sergeant. “There is no such thing as strong coffee, only weak people” Words to live by! Thanks for praying!
Best of luck Jeff you are in my prayers.
Ron
Thanks, Ron.
